Isabel Made this little friend she named: Billy pretzel Mick-Bobby. At the art workshop she attended last Saturday! What a great way to spend a $20. I cannot wait until she plans something else! Perfect day, with a friend for life to take home after.My girl is HAPPY! ♥

It has been a very busy couple weeks.

Abram's last day of preschool is this Friday.
The big girls end next Tuesday.

Obsessing Over: How much hair falls out of my head, every damn day.
Working on: Cleaning my out of control room! Last week I ripped everything out of my closet and nothing was put back…I am still sorting, packing and giving away. What a damn task.
Thinking about: Finishing that damn room. What the hell I am going to make for supper. Trimming the stems of  my lilacs. dyeing my hair. when will Matt get home….I have a run on brain.
Anticipating: The weekend! Isabel’s art workshop!
Listening to: Music and Abram/Hannah.
Drinking: Water with ice,lemon and limes.
Wishing: The list is endless.

Right Now.

Isabel and Lillian are off to school.

-Lillian is SO bummed that her field trip to the remembrance garden was postponed until next Tuesday! It is just too damn wet. ugh. I am going to go, of course! We are planting flowers at the funeral home down the street we will be walking there. We will learn about the cycle of death and starting new life in the garden. I went with Isabel last year and it was a wonderful experience. I am excited to  do it again. When it is not pouring every other minute..

-Hannah is eating grapes and laying on the floor naked.

-Abram is untangling cords for his father! lol

-I am starving and have no idea what I want to eat.

-Just got done soaking and peeling off labels on all my glass jars. Time to be creative.

-I have The Doors blaring, at 10 in the morning….That is ok right?!

It has been a very very very long day.

Things left to do before bed:

-Cleaning.
-Dishes
-Reading time
-Baths
-Bed for the kids.
-More dishes.
-Long HOT shower.
-Pack everything for tomorrows day.
-Watch a little tv and tumblr time.
-Maybe another blog post on here as well.
-Make Matts snacks and lunch for work.
-Pick out Matt's work clothes.
-BED!

Road Trip!

Getting ready for a road trip down to NH today!!

Thing I still need to get ready:

-MYSELF.
-Packing some snacks for the car.
-Water
-Toll money/Gas money.
-Extra clothes.
-Books and other stuff for the kiddos.

1...2.....3.....GO GO GO!

Today was a wonderful, wonderful day.

However I cannot stop thinking about my husband. His health, his lad results....so much going on right now. Pretty fucking stressed out. He is so sick and stressed and he is not even looking good right now. ugh I just want to spoon him. He was so sweet tonight. We went and got our oil changed in the car before out road trip to NH tomorrow. We had to stop in at Tim Horton's to feed Matt because he got very ill and after he ate was feeling much better and we headed off for some food shopping. When we got home he started to till the garden and I started laundry about an hour passes he comes in from work and gives me the sweetest flowers and a little note saying ” I love you, Thank you for taking such good care of our babies.”

He is the sick one right now and he is still picking me up...I love you Matt! 

I do pretty well in SOME crazy parenting situations.

So I am boiling water on the stove and doing some prep work for our food. The kids dig out this little push cart thing and about three minutes I hear Hannah SCREAM so loud. I rush over and her thumb is pinned in the top of the cart. It was red and purple and I could not get out and the cart needed to be held up so it would not crush her finger more.. UGH.

So we are in the living room at this point. I yell to Abe to get the butter from the fridge (I could not leave her and the cart.) He took everything out but the butter and his stool was NOT in the kitchen so he could NOT get me the coconut oil. I just asked him to sit back down and PLEASE keep quite, I needed to think. FAST.

I see that Matt did not give the Pam’s cooking spray back to my parents and it is on top of the stove. Above the boiling water….. So I slowly drag myself,the cart and poor Hannah over to the stove and had to grab the wooden spoon and knock the Pam off the stove, over the boiling water with out burning myself, Hannah or pinching her finger even worse. UGH!

I GOT IT ONE DAMN TRY, WITHOUT BURNING MYSELF OR MY CHILD!

I had to pop the cover off with my damn neck and sprayed like a lunatic and it finally slid right out! She is ok now. It was AWFUL.

So Hi! I am Nikki. Mother of four beautiful, smart and amazing young children. I am married to my best friend, Matt. We have been married for almost a decade and he is truly my soul mate. We live in Maine in a very small town. My parents live right next door to us and everything is so close knit. I am pretty much an open book when it comes our life and how I raise my children.

This is Me!

I am a Leo. I am really stubborn and very strong willed. I would die for the ones I love and I am like Betty Crocker in the kitchen. A lion in the bedroom and I also have to deal with the total bull shit of having multiple chronic illnesses. I try not to bitch to much and know that I do indeed cuss...I need to let it out some where!

This is My Matt<3 He is seriously everything to me. I gush about him lots and most likely bitch about him too.

This is our family!

  Isabel. She is 9. VERY smart, ultra sensitive and has the biggest drive and thirst for knowledge I have ever seen. She is very special to me. I could not have asked for a better daughter. She is truly a blessing.

Lillian. She is 7. Also so very smart,beautiful and caring. So out going and friendly. She gets along with the elderly famously, She loves the outdoors and riding her bike and doing amazing tricks on it. She is such a free spirit and a wild child to say the very least. She was born with spina bifida occulta and it causes her so much pain in her neck,back and legs. however you will soon find out nothing stops my child. she is amazing and so strong. I am so proud she is my daughter.She is a bad ass.

Abram. He is 4 years old and our ONLY son. He is awesome. What a joy and a change in pace to have a son. We have been through so much in this short amount of time together. This little guy is SO loving, protective and just all around a joy in our lives. He is such  a heart throb and a fabulous helper. He is such a Mama's boy and adores his fathers every waking move. He is still co-sleeping with us and I would really have it no other way.

Hannah. She is 2. She is our baby. Our last daughter and child of the family. Hannah is beautiful she has the most raspy adorable voice on the planet and I swear it is like having Lillian all over again. She is SO stubborn and will not take no for an answer, she does however have amazing manners. :P She has brought such happiness to us and fulfillment. She is an old soul who loves listening to Etta James and Bob Dylan. She is so smart and is starting to really take interest Reading and writing her ABC's...

I could truly go on forever about my family!
